Care tips for a longer life
- Check the electrolyte level every 2 to 3 months. Top up with distilled water only.
- Keep terminals tight and clean. A thin layer of petroleum jelly stops corrosion.
- Place in a dry, ventilated spot, away from flames, sparks and direct sun.
- Never mix old and new batteries, or different capacities, in one bank.
- Avoid repeated deep discharge. Recharge soon after a long power cut.
- Keep the load within the inverter rating and use the right charger settings.
